VANS Spring 2016 professional development workshop series for artists will feature topics including Grant Writing, Pricing Your Work, Making Time to Make Art, Documenting Your Work, and Estate Planning for Artists. Running May to June in Halifax, Annapolis Royal and Tatamagouche, the workshops will feature the professional expertise of Katie Belcher, Stacey Cornelius, Steve Farmer, Sarah Maloney, and George Clarke.

In addition, VANS is organizing free Peer to Peer Discussions in Halifax, Annapolis Royal, and Tatamagouche, about Earning Opportunities for Artists. These discussion sessions are an opportunity for artists to gather together in an informal setting to share tips, tricks and strategies for earning money through their art and experience. These sessions are also a chance for artists to connect with their fellow community members, and identify unique earning opportunities in their region.

Visit www.visualarts.ns.ca/programs/vans-workshops/ for details on workshop topics, registration, schedules, and becoming a VANS member to access discounts on workshop fees along with programs serving visual artists.
