Without the generosity of its many supporters, VANS could not offer such a wide range of programs and services. Registered as a charitable organization, all donations made to VANS over $20 are tax deductible and will receive a charitable tax receipt.
Sponsorship or legacy giving information relating to a particular VANS program or services are available from the office. For more information, please contact director@visualarts.ns.ca.
Online donations are made in units of $1.00. To add a donation, click the “Add to Cart” button below the program to which you wish to donate, then update the quantity to your desired donation amount. For example, if you wish to donate $50 update the quantity to 50.
The Susan Wood Award
VANS created this award in Susan’s memory to assist emerging visual artists. The Susan Wood Award, of $1000, will be awarded to a Nova Scotia Talent Trust scholarship recipient who shows exceptional commitment and potential in the field of visual arts. Donations will be used to establish this award and ensure it continues for many years to come. For more information on the award click here.

VANS Artist Emergency Fund
The VANS Artist Emergency Fund (AEF) has been created in response to concern that artists generally do not have access to safety nets such EI, health insurance or even insurance to cover studio loss in case of an emergency such as fire or flood.
