, DIGBY AND SHELBURNE

Power of Place is a Visual Arts Nova Scotia regional member art exhibit that explores the connections society, and likewise participating artists forge with a given landscape.

Where and when do we feel at home and at peace? What are the qualities that attract or repel us? Power of Place is a group show exploring this theme for participating VANS members and residents residing in the Southwest region of the province.

The exhibition will travel from Shelburne to Digby to Yarmouth spanning April, May and June. Power of Place is currently being exhibited at the Isaiah Wilson Memorial Library in Digby, Nova Scotia.

From Digby the exhibit will travel to the Yarmouth County Musuem and Archives in Yarmouth in June.
