CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS:

disCOMFORT ZONE – REGIONAL EXHIBITION

Artist members of VANS Annapolis Region West: from Middleton to Bear River, are invited to participate in the upcoming exhibition disComfort Zone, to take place from April 8 to May 5, 2012 at ARTsPLACE Gallery.

We want you to leave your current comfort zone and stretch your artistic muscles.  Change your medium, your genre, or both! We will be using the main space as well as the grounds, so feel free to create an outdoor piece or a performance.  Collaborations are also encouraged.

Please contact Regional Representative Susan Malmstrom at theartist@susanmalmstrom.com by Friday, February 17th to notify us of your intent to participate.  You must be a VANS member in good standing at the time of submission.

All work is due, ready to hang or install, at ARTsPLACE Gallery no later than March 31. We will be presenting a workshop on performance art at ARCAC soon for those interested in presenting a performance work for the first time.  A date and time for all performance art presentations will be forthcoming.
