Visual Arts Nova Scotia presents an artist talk by Brooklyn-based artist Caroline Woolard at NSCAD’s Lunenburg Studio Residency, Saturday March 8 at 1pm. In Collaboration with NSCAD University’s School of Extended Studies, and Art + Activism @ NSCAD project, this free artist talk is offered as the fifth and final installment of Visual Arts Nova Scotia’s En Route Artist Talk Series.

Caroline Woolard is an artist and organizer based in Brooklyn, New York. Making sculptures, furniture, and events, Woolard co-creates spaces for critical exchange, forgotten histories, and plausible futures. Her practice is research-based and collaborative. Woolard is visiting Nova Scotia as a resident artist of NSCAD University’s Art and Activism project dedicated to recalling and fostering work (both artistic and academic) committed to social and political engagement, to art and activism.
