Everything that you are reading, I have said before – Bonnie Baker

October 3 – 30, 2009
Everything that you are reading, I have said before
Bonnie Baker

Bonnie Baker will exhibit two contiguous drawings that bind the walls of the gallery.  These drawings were culled from a previous installation/performance piece, called Bindings, in which the interior of a small room was literally bound with interconnecting drawings of knotted rope and accompanying text. A number of drawings were made each day over a course of two weeks until all four walls were tied together with images and words. Everything that you are reading, I have said before is the first line of the text telling a story of plagiarism and regret.
