Artist Statement
As a new artist, I have been focusing on the environment that surrounds me. Rich, bold colours, and how the light finds us in the dark, have been my focus. My paintings reflect the people and places in my life that have inspired me.
Selected Biography
Kerry Lynn Fraser grew up in the small town of Oxford, NS and is now living in Dartmouth, NS. Always drawing and creating, she initially took oil painting lessons when she was 10 years old. Instead of art, she pursued a career Occupational Therapy, enabling her to be creative everyday. She has recently returned to her desire to be an artist. Kerry has taken courses in art history at Acadia University, art courses at the extended studies programs at MUN and NSCAD, and private oil painting lessons. Her paintings can be found in private collections as well as on her website.
