artist statement

I have taken part in numerous group shows with VANS, Mount Saint Vincent University, and other artists’ groups in the region. In the early 1990 I took part in a three persons show in Vald’ Or, Quebec with portraits of prominent people of that region, and again in 2004 at Arts Place, Annapolis Royal. This time I exhibited eighteen pieces of women’s hands busy at various activities, such as being President of a University, or carrying on the duties as Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia. Still I am interested in depicting the figure, and currently putting together another series of busy hands, this time showing various work activities of men.
