Vases From Scotland
artist statement
“Vases From Scotland” refers to the process of being forgotten, to poverty to one special thing being all that remains, and to the sadness that the passge of time brings. I have concentrated on the formal considerations of pattern and colour in this work, as I have done in other paintings.
